Welcome to Planetia
Planetia is a 4X space MMO strategy game. You start with a single home planet in a shared galaxy and grow your empire through exploration, expansion, exploitation, and extermination.
How Rounds Work
Every round is a fresh galaxy. All players start equal — no pay-to-win, no carry-over from previous rounds. A round ends when one player or alliance achieves the victory condition (controlling 50% of inhabited systems for 24 hours) or when the round timer expires.
Winners are recorded in the Hall of Fame and the round is archived for permanent browsing.
Key Concepts
- Empire: Your collection of colonized planets, fleets, and resources.
- Fleet: A group of ships assigned to a mission (move, attack, defend, colonize).
- Alliance: A coalition of up to 20 players with a shared bank and coordination tools.
- Tick: The game advances in ticks — approximately every 5 minutes, fleet positions and resource production are updated.
